Make measurements using non standard units

Follow the link to studyladder, there you will workout the area and perimeter of everyday objects using a similar concepts as we used previously using grid paper to represent 1cm.

Once you have completed this task, if time permits please see me about collecting a trundle wheel and working in pairs to measure the basketball court and calculate its perimeter and area, record your findings in your maths book to share with me.
